So I've gotten the first classes over and done with for all of my courses, except for the lab. And I really am not looking forward to that because I *don't* want a certain someone in my lab section, but ASDFJKL; not like I can do anything about it. :(
Overall, here are my thoughts about my courses...
Math 200: My prof seems alright. If I can stop myself from going on the Kamelot shoutbox on Last.fm during class, I think that I can keep up. At least, so far... The classroom's kind of mehhhh though. I don't really like the weird spin-out/in chairs and I know nobody in my class, but that's alright. I don't really feel like I need to make any more friends.
CPSC 211: This girl that I befriended last year is in my class! :O And she's going to be in my other 2 CPSC courses in second term, as well as my Stats course! At least she's nice, though overly giggly at times. But it's nice to know that I can pretty much guarantee that I'll have a seat next to her during class (especially since Mondays will feature an epic run from the 3rd floor of the Music building down to Dempster). And my prof's name is pronounced 'Sickness'. :O My online friends say that he is Greek based on his first and last names.
Math 221: Another class where I know nobody. Everything seems pretty basic so far, and my prof is likable. And since I know nobody in this class, I must. Resist. Shouting. With. Online. Friends. D: Though, they are very very distracting.
Music 100: I. LOVE. MY. PROF. He is hilarious! He said so many silly ridiculous things that I can't really put down just one here. Though he says things, like "Here's a handout to be passed around. Everybody says, 'Yay!'" and if we give a half-hearted "Yay!", he prompts us again until we say "Yay!" or "Goodie!". And that's not even touching the surface of his lulziness. The only thing is that I don't think my classmates like me very much. But oh well. I'M NOT HERE TO MAKE FRIENDS.
Music 120: This is the first/only course to make perfect sense to me this year. Like, I sit there, listen to the prof prattle on about the syllabus, and EVERYTHING HE SAYS MAKES SENSE TO ME. There aren't any terms I have absolutely no idea about. There aren't any strange or foreign concepts. This stuff makes sense. And I actually can make myself pay attention during this class.
