No, not the creepers from Minecraft.
[long account of creepiness]
On the topic of CPSC, I hung out in the CPSC building today before my 213 class and not even 5 minutes after I had sat down, this guy came up to me and sat down 2 seats away. I didn't really pay him any attention until he started talking to me. Turns out it was the creepy guy who was hitting on my project partner. I wasn't 100% sure that it was him (... all Asians look the same. Or at least the ones I've met in university.) so I started off by saying "I think I forgot your name". He reminded me of it and mentally confirmed that it was indeed that creep. I busied myself with checking Twitter on my iPod and madly texting my project partner (who was on her way to meet me) to turn around and go somewhere else. There was silence, and then he asked me a question. This went on for about 10 minutes -- he would ask me a question, I would give a succinct answer, we would lapse into silence. Generally he just asked about how 221 and if I was taking 213 and how my courses this term compared to last term. And then he asked what I was taking this term and I told him and he was all like "LOL DO YOU HAVE EXAMS IN YOUR MUSIC COURSES?" I mean, really now. REALLY. I explained what my theory exams are like and threw in enough jargon to confuse/bore him. He also asked after my project partner and I guess because I sound borderline obnoxious he assumed that I am "smarter" (lol no) and that I am the "leader". Well, I am bossy, but it's a freaking partnership aka team of two. Yeesh. And then he brought up co-op and asked if I actually coded things for fun and I mentioned my website. Unfortunately this incited him to explain that he had transferred out of CPSC (wait, wtf was he doing in the CPSC building?) and needed help making a website so could I please help him or teach him HTML/CSS/PHP. He even offered to pay me. I told him that it was easy to learn those languages and that 10-year old me had learnt them so yeah. Man up. This also led to him asking me what area of CPSC I exactly wanted to study and I said that I wanted to take courses in different areas of study to keep my options open and to not close any doors. Apparently he didn't understand what I said about not closing any doors. I think my obnoxiousness went up by about 200.
Oh yeah, and then he asked me for my zodiac sign. I tried to play dumb by asking which zodiac he meant exactly (I was hoping that he would say the Chinese one or something) and that confused him so I asked if it was the zodiac where Sagittarius was included. He said yes. I told him my sign. I ran off to class.
Jesus actual Christ. Why me?
[/long]
In other news, I'm done my Music assignment (yay! Fixed all those damn parallel octaves/fifths! Yay for weird doublings!) and just have to study for my midterm and work on/finish my Stats assignment.
Also, because I watched the Glee episode today, I have to say that I wanted to headdesk repeatedly. I swear to God, the amount of drama those kids cause is absolutely unreal. Or maybe my high school group just really had little to no drama because we weren't all dating each other. That being said, aside from all the coupledom and PDA everywhere, I quite liked what that Mercedes girl said about being single and how it doesn't matter because you can just express that loneliness and whatnot through singing/art/whatever.
Anyhow, I'm dead tired now. Yay 8AM class tomorrow!! /sarcasm
