So today was Valentine's Day, and I have to say that today I probably had the most enjoyable Valentine's Day of my short little life so far. No, I didn't have a hot date or anything, but I *did* get to hang out with probably my 3 closest friends. The day consisted of watching television (How I Met Your Mother & Jeopardy) and playing a few games of Pyramid that my friend made using PowerPoint. That was great fun. Lots of inside jokes were spawned from that.
Earlier in the day, I played a bit more Minecraft on my friend's server. I should've taken pictures of the insane detail put into the pyramid and Parthenon on his server, but unfortunately I didn't. And I died today so I'm allllllll the way back at the spawn point, which is very very far away from the fancy architectural stuff. Darn it.
In Minecraft-related news, my brother told me that Sweden's subway card may feature a creeper. The fact that the Obvious Troll-face is in the running just downright confuses me. I mean, yeah, we had some pretty crappy name ideas for our transit card, but having a creeper or Obvious Trollface on your transit card is just plain... weird. I'm not sure exactly how the creeper design is faring as a finalist as I am nowhere near fluent in Swedish (I swear to God, all I can decipher is "Here are"), but it seems to be doing well vote-wise. In conclusion: Sverige är strange (or whatever 'strange' is in Swedish).
I'm just going to finish this post with some picspam of the wand I got in Seattle the other day at the Harry Potter Exhibition. It's a replica of Hermione's wand and it actually feels rather weighty. My guess is that its made of epoxy.
Smoosh desperately tries to play with it.
Fun fact: Hermione's wand is about as long as my cat (minus the tail).
