Yay it's 1AM and so it's officially Friday now!
...
No, there isn't really much of anything to say "yay" over. Reading break is almost over and I've still got tons of crap to do. Ughhhhhhh.
The good news for the day is that I'm just over halfway done my paper! Though I will probably have to do epic amounts of editing (writing at 2AM will do that) and formatting to get all the footnotes in. And then I have a few questions left for my theory assignment, a 221 lab to finish, a 221 project due in a week, and studying for my 213 midterm on Tuesday!
Yup, I'm kind of dead.
And I'm also kind of sore from laser tag. No, more like very sore. I haven't done that much kneeling/crouching in a long time.
So yesterday night I got caught up on watching Jeopardy, as it was the end of Watson's little stint on the much-loved game show (well, God knows I love Jeopardy). Watson did extremely well, and really, I'm a little disappointed in how Ken Jennings and Brad Rutter did, though if it came down to button-clicking, I can't really blame either of them, I suppose.
Also, this has apparently spawned a heated discussion about whether or not America or Canada is the better country (don't check the comments):
And that Ken Jennings. He's a real card.
(Skip to 8:24 if you don't want to geek out and answer along to the Double Jeopardy round)
Also, I only very recently caught this commercial, as all of the super special SuperBowl commercials weren't aired in Canada. The Star Wars fangirl in me loved it. And even the cynical "I dislike children" side of me thought that it was cute:
One thing I've noticed that comes up when people from all over the world talk online, is the subject of bagged milk. And most of the time the country of discussion with this weird phenomenon is Canada. I have to say that I have never seen milk in a bag. Granted, I've pretty much been confined to B.C., but I don't think that it's a matter of what side of the Rockies you're on to experience this. As far as I know, it's only Ontario and Quebec with the whole milk in a bag thing going on. But! If you're curious as to how them Easterners deal with milk, here's a video by some chick who felt the need to prove that she's Canadian by wearing a shirt saying so:
Mmkay, that's all for now. Have a good day!
