Delusion-Elle

delusional, since 1991 *pew pew*

... it amazes me how much traffic 4 words have gotten my blog: "too far rich shapero". I'm guessing that his book about "imaginative 6 year olds" in some "imaginary world" is being handed out all over the world, à la Wild Animus. It occurred to me after accepting Too Far from these poor saps to ask them how they came to possess these bunches of dead trees. I mean, are they part of some cult with sects all over the world determined to spread the gospel word of Rich Shapero? Perhaps these individuals were once the brave souls who decided to sit down and read the book(s). And now they stand at doorways and busy intersections -- especially on the campuses of post-secondary institutions -- trying desperately to siphon off these sad excuses for books.

So spring has sprung! Apparently spring started a couple of days ago, and I have to say that the spring equinox seemed to have an almost immediate and discernible effect on the weather. It's been sunny for the past few days, and it's been rather warm. True, it's like 3 degrees at night, but in the afternoon the temperature reaches a whopping 11 degrees. It makes it very hard to dress properly if you're going to be out and about from 7AM to 8PM. It's also really bright outside, most surprisingly at 7PM. Of course it's not like summer time, but it's surprisingly especially since just a few months ago it was nearly pitch black at 4PM.

Um, um, um, other than thaaaaaat... I don't have much else to say today. I just wanted to comment on the 13 hits I've gotten from keyword searches related to Rich Shapero. Oh, and also this pic:

Because my cat likes to drink from the tap. And my dad enjoys taking pictures of the cat doing stupid things. And I spend far too much time on MemeBase.

"Too Far" I went to the recycling center in my city. I spotted this book in the "Mix Paper" bin. I thought, Why are all these NEW book all in the recycling bin. I mean, there was a lot of copies in there. My first thought was "maybe they made a typo." So I took one home and I read 15 pages of it and decided...this is a bad book. It just rambles on about strange things popping out of nowhere. I'm either going to throw it away or donate it to the library...second thought, it would be cruel to donate to the library.
