What's worse?

Is it better to be complete and utter crap in Science or happy and able to get relatively decent marks in Arts?
Science = jobs
Arts = no jobs that I want (no, I'm not patient or nice enough to be a teacher, I think) or the awesome sauce I want is virtually unattainable.

Things I want (in approx. order I want):

  • French degree
  • Music degree
  • Psychology degree
  • English degree
But what do you do with a French/Music/Psych/English degree? I think I'd be down with any of those. A Science degree? I don't know. Sometimes I think I can hack it and reap decent rewards from a job in the Comp Sci field, but there are other times when I really don't think I can do it.

And I don't know what I want anymore.

Arts is a double-edged sword. There are so many jobs available but it's hard to get into the specific job you want. To combine everything together, perhaps you could work in Paris and become a researcher which requires detailed computer analysis of the therapeutic effects of music?

I don't know if that made any sense whatsoever. I want to teach a university-level course about the politics of sports. But that's just my drug-induced idealistic fantasy.
