Le sigh~

On the not-so-great hand, November is shaping up to be a horrible month. Let's have a rundown of what kind of things I'm going to have to look out for:

  • Math 200: Midterm #3 (Nov. 5), midterm #4 (Nov. 19)
  • Math 221: Midterm #2 (Nov. 19 -- I DUB THEE "DAY OF RECKONING"), homework due every Wednesday
  • Music 100: Melody assignment (Nov. 4), sight interval drill every other Monday
  • Music 120: Term paper (Nov. 19), quiz every Tuesday
  • CPSC 211: Assignment #3 (Nov. 5), Assignment #4 (Nov. 26)
  • [updated] Co-op: interview (Nov. 12)
Mm yeah. Love it.
Well, I intend on getting some resources together on Monday for my term paper for Music 120. I'm pretty sure that if I dedicate 15-20 minutes every day from November 1 to 14, I can get my paper done, no problem. But balancing that with everything else... that'll be fun. Yes. Quite.

And on the other hand, I've just been notified that I'm good to go for a Co-op intake interview. So I'm one of 60-something people. Alright. Time to shiiiiiiiiiiine.

I wish I could blog about something more thought-provoking, but I'm hungry and stressed by school so this will have to do for now.
Plus my cat's on my lap sleeping and he is incredibly warm. I'm not really appreciating the extra warmth, cat. Do you have any idea how warm it is in this house?! D:

Who needs straight men when you can have gay men?!

Well, okay, straight women cannot HAVE gay men for their own, but they are seriously, the best freaking people to talk to.

Example: conversation I just had with my gay best friend (or more accurately, my best gay friend -- we aren't bff, but he would have to be my closest gay friend). So his hair stylist just "left" and the new stylist there gave him this as opposed to this (the one of the left, but with longer bangs). He is very upset now because his hair is now (in his own words) "ewwwie". <3 And I asked if he's going to the GS Year End dinner and he said yes and that I'd better go because he doesn't want to be alone. <3 That totally warmed my heart right up.

Kinda.

I kinda love my gay best friend.
The poor bloke is struggling with his Music courses since he didn't take any RCM piano theory lessons. D: But he's so talented -- got into Capilano after only 2 years of playing the flute -- and he's top of his year (and so humble T^T).
Next time he comes up to the UBC music library, I have to catch him and maybe even introduce him to my friends (since everyone wants to meet him). :)
My mom thinks he looks like a Chinese Adam Lambert. I think he looks cuter. :D
It's kinda hard not to love him.

Just had to post this since he's posting updates in his MSN name about all the composers he's studying right now (Vivaldi to Bach in 1 hour).

I am so happy to have such great friends. :) Couldn't ask for anyone better.
I just want to thank everyone who's cared to listen, who's given up time to give a damn, who's at least pretended to experience the rollercoaster with me, who hasn't pushed me too hard, but just let me be. The confusion may still exist, but to be able to tell you guys and get my life back on track has really made me feel better (even if I'm still confused). At least the confusion's just going to take a backseat while I just try to get through wave two of midterms.
Again, thank you, guys! :) Best support system anyone can have. We may all be different, but we're still essentially human. Very nice humans, might I add. ;D

On a less sappy, ooey-gooey note, I'm done with Physucks and now I just gotta try and study CPSC.
Still gotta make my lunch for tomorrow, wash my hair, pack my laptop, and try to remember how to do titrations. D:
